RECIPE .... Tahini Dip!

Good afternoon! I wanted to share with you today this SCRUMPTIOUS dip which is a much loved favourite in our home….its quick, easy and tasty…simply put all the ingredients into a bowl and stir….its gluten, dairy, soy, nut, egg, preservative and additive free…..AND its super healthy!!!!!!!

Tahini Dip

½ cup Tahini paste

¼ cup fresh lemon juice

1 heaped tblspn sweet chilli sauce

1 clove garlic – crushed

Put all ingredients into a medium bowl and mix well with a spoon. Serve with vegetable sticks or rice crackers. We love them served with small pieces of roasted sweet potato (with toothpicks!)

Simple as that! Perfect for entertaining or easy enough when you feeling like munching away on something when sitting out the backyard having fun with the kids! We love it that much that is sometimes even makes an appearance with steamed veggies and chicken at dinner time!

Tahini – is a paste from ground sesame seeds. It is high in calcium, protein, copper, magnesium and Vitamin A, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B15 WOW!!!!!!!! It can be used as a spread instead of peanut butter.

Lemon – Lemons are great for digestion and liver cleansing. They contain healthy minerals such as iron, calcium and potassium. Squeeze the fresh juice onto salads or to perk up plain water!

Garlic – raw garlic is great for the immune system and beneficial if you have a common cold. It is loaded with vitamins and minerals such as protein, potassium, calcium, Vitamin A, B, B2, C and Zinc. Be careful for the animal owners as garlic is toxic to cats and dogs.
